Biennial Conference

As announced at its 2014 annual general meeting, the Association has decided to hold its successful Islamic Manuscript Conference biennially instead of annually. This new conference schedule will enable the Association to increase its number of course offerings in non-Conference years, as well as to broaden the range of course topics. In 2015, the Association will continue to offer its well-regarded and well-attended codicology courses, and, in addition to these, will introduce courses on papermaking and preservation. Courses on cataloguing, cultural property destruction and protection, and textual editing are also being planned.
